As part of our process, we use your application date to establish a timeline for acceptance.
Admissions at CORE Academy
Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your child.
At CORE Academy, we make the process clear, compassionate, and on what matters most:
your child’s growth.
Is CORE Academy a Good Fit for Your Child?
We serve students in grades 3-8th who benefit from:
Small class sizes
Individualized multisensory instruction
A strengths-based approach to learning
Social-emotional support
Our students have diagnoses such as:
Dyslexia
ADHD
Dysgraphia / Dyscalculia
High-functioning autism
Other language-based or specific learning differences

Our admissions process is thoughtful and individualized.
While it may take time, each step plays a key role in helping us understand your child deeply.
Because every family’s situation is unique, timelines may vary. But throughout the process, our goal remains the same: to provide a school experience where your child feels seen, heard and celebrated.
How to Apply
Our admissions process is personal, thoughtful, and supportive:
1. Interest Form - see above
2. Schedule a Tour - Meet with Dr. Lainie and share your child’s journey with her -call 925.448.2152 to set up
3. Application Packet- If Dr. Lainie feels your student may be a possible fit, an Application Packet will be sent to your family for completion.
4. Shadows Days or Student Visit - Your child joins us on campus for a low-pressure classroom experience. March - June
5. Starting in March, CORE Academy will send families acceptance letters to welcome new families
This rolling admissions process continues until all available spaces are filled.
